I'm currently reading The Genesis of Science: How the Christian Middle Ages Launched the Scientific Revolution by James Hannam and I'm enjoying it so far. The book discusses the scientific progress that was made during the Middle Ages. For example, people of medieval Europe invented the windmill, blast furnace, spectacles, the mechanical clock, and many other things. There were improvements in agriculture during the Middle Ages.
