A Glory Seed Devotional
Home Sweet PSALMS…

Today life will put you on trial!

The path you walk with be your courtroom. The powers and principalities of this world will be your judge and jury. Adversity will be your executioner.

And!

There will be no defense! You will be found guilty and sentenced to be oppressed!

However, if you take the short time to whisper this prayer: “Let your steadfast love come to me, O LORD, your salvation according to your promise…” (Psalms 119:41 ESV) And believe with all your heart.

Then!

Just as John Wayne arrived at the last minute in the movies a Bigger than Life Hero named Jesus, the Hero of heroes will prevent the sentence from being carried out. And the words of the Psalmist will ring loud and true: “The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble. And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek you. Sing praises to the LORD, who sits enthroned in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds!” (Psalms 9:9-11 ESV)

There is joy and peace on the path for those who ask for it!

Grace and PEACE!
Gary
