Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing Jehovah-Jireh...
Life for Living from the Psalms...
    Shalom!

We all have a Special Place or Places where we can go, close our eyes and visualize and experience the presence of God. For me there are three places the Smoky Mountains, sitting in the early morning hours at where the Lake Huron empties into the St. Clair River, and sitting in the comfort of my recliner in our living room.

Where do you experience the depth and intimacy with God like no other place? Have you ever wanted to go there and be with God, not asking Him for anything simply thanking and praising Him? I know I have, but that not asking for something is easier said than done. Whenever I get into my “gimme God mode” I search for a scripture that asks for nothing simply acknowledging God and His ability to Love and Accept me for who and what I am. This morning I found this, perhaps it will resonate with you as well.

One important lesson I've experienced in my 71 years and a take away lesson for you if you’ve not already experienced it is “If you are too busy spend time with God you’re TOO busy!” So, at the first chance you get close your eyes and pay a visit to Special Place or one of your Special Places so you can be present with God and think about the following verses from the Psalms. I won’t see you because I am in one of my Special Places.

“Your unfailing love, O Lord, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. Your righteousness is like the mighty mountains, your justice like the ocean depths. You care for people and animals alike, O Lord. How precious is your unfailing love, O God! All humanity finds shelter in the shadow of your wings. You feed them from the abundance of your own house, letting them drink from your river of delights. For you are the fountain of life, the light by which we see. Pour out your unfailing love on those who love you; give justice to those with honest hearts.” (Psalm 36:5–10, NLT)

    AMEN!

“Wait patiently for the Lord. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.”**
    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
