Male - MormonObama's Department of Justice to the rescue.
This poor woman, er man, is having his, er her civil rights violated. Let's force everyone to accommodate by allowing him to use the women's bathrooms.

I sympathize with the tough life transgendered people have, but that university already had gender neutral bathrooms as well as male and female. Even I'd use the neutral bathroom because honestly I don't blame heterosexual men for not wanting to use the bathroom or locker room with a gay man who may or may not be appraising them sexually.

Transgendered women are women. I don't really see what's wrong outside of transphobia.

I think that they are obviously talking about people who have the "incorrect" genitalia to be using certain bathrooms, and not people who have had a sex change surgery. When a sex change surgery is done well, there isn't a way to tell if said person is using the "wrong" bathroom.

apparently the only thing that makes him a "woman" is having boobs. Does that mean that flat-chested women are men and should use men's bathrooms?

I would have to respectfully disagree. Once you put a law in place like that, then what is supposed to stop some guy who just wants to go into the other bathroom to be a "peeping tom"? Perverts will just use this law as an excuse to go into the bathroom designated for others. Seriously, if you were a woman, would you want someone that is fully male coming in there, and doing his business, and never fully knowing if he was just some kind of jerk just trying to see what he wants to?

Re: Obama's Department of Justice to the rescue.
It's strange we have gendered bathrooms at all. Really, all bathrooms should be gender neutral.
It's not fair to treat one group (transgendered people) differently because of what another group (cisgendered men) might do. Lesbian and bisexual women can already be peeping toms. Plus, that wouldn't be a transgendered man in the women's room, that would be a cisgendered man in the women's room, which isn't what I'm advocating.

Better yet, just make everyone go home to use their own bathroom

Re: Obama's Department of Justice to the rescue.
"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace
