It's wrong to treat transexuals as disgusting. There are plenty of transexuals out there who one wouldn't know were born the opposite gender if one was never told, even after being intimate. If one doesn't find a transexual attractive because one can't get over hangups about who they were, that needs to be acknowledged as an issue with oneself, not with the transexual.
Not wanting to engage in a sexual relationship with someone doesn't mean you think they're "disgusting," just not attractive as mates

Someone who is 'broken' by pedophilia can be fixed by supporting them and allowing them access to children.

Actually they can't be fixed, not with current technology. Just lied to fairly effectively.
"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.

The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.

So if somebody gets in a relationship with somebody then finds out that the person is transsexual later on and has qualms about that they have a problem?

So if you're not panssexual, then there's something wrong with you I guess.
If one is attracted to someone and the only reason one doesn't want to be with them is the knowledge that they are a transexual, that's one's hang up. Their status as a transexual has no impact on anything else in such a scenario.

You're right, I should have been clearer. Dismissing all transexuals as unsuitable for a partner because of a disgust at their past is wrong. That was a general statement to clarify what I was saying and not directed towards anyone in particular.

Why do you compare transexuals to pedophiles?

Having the body and living the life of the gender they identify counts as being fixed/whole.

He's not, he's saying your logic can be applied to normalize pedophilia as well, therefore the logic is flawed. It's a bit of poisoning the well, but it's also true that if what someone feels they are is something that should be supported then it should apply to pedophiles too.

They don't really have the body, just an approximation, and just because you live your life as something you identify does not make you fixed. I could start living the life of Napoleon but it wouldn't make me Napoleon, it would just get me landed in an institution because there aren't enough people like that for liberals to milk for votes.

I really don't see how they're at all comparable.
