Forget about it, Sparko. I'm already taken.
"Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.
And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in c\taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning."

You cannot substantiate this at all. It is YOUR belief, not actual fact.

What you are constantly trying to say is that nearly 15M members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are wrong. That is ludicrous.

They could ONLY present the very most positive aspects of their own life --- like the "Prophet of the Restoration" movie does with Smith's life.
They could answer the questions the (whoever does the exam for the Temple Recommend) SHOULD have asked....
They could endlessly spin PRETENDING that the examiner was asking a different question....

I mean, all the tactics we see employed here by Mormons in "apologetics"... would it be wrong, according to you guys, for somebody to use those same tactics to gain entry to your Temple?

      Just wondering.
Well CP's will to "back off" lasted what a little over 24 hours. I find the whole thrust of this question objectionable.

I hope my LDS friends especially Jeff and OC see this for the silly attempt it is to blacken the reputation of LDS. The next step after this post is for his sidekick in all this Sparko to pitch in his two cents.

BTW, this is exactly what I expected to happen.

I suggest just ignore such obnoxious behavior Jeff. He is just needling you and hoping to get you into the same pattern of posting that supposedly CP was "backing off" from yesterday.

Evidently, his unhealthy obsession and I truly mean obsession is pushing itself to the for again.

I find it rather pathetic and sad and anyone worth caring about can see through it.

Hi, just curious here, but don't you believe other Christian faiths with millions of members are wrong? Or am I out of context here because I haven't read through the thread in it's entirety.

When I even THINK you're engaging in civil discourse, I'm very happy to engage --- Like I have done in the "Greek" thread. I don't think I could be any more honest and open with you than that thread, because I ASSUMED you were being sincere.
Again pure 100% CP. Make a OP that is a back handed slap at the integrity of a heart felt belief and then make an "Oh my you are touchy" inane comment.

Don't give him the reponce he needs to justify such a pathetic and transparent attempt to harass you . . . and at this point I would call it harassment. CP is making an organized attempt to harass you Jeff, and LDS member, for the beliefs you have because you are "not a Christian."

If I've been unclear CP and/or Sparko I consider that both of you have organized and embarked on a planned attack on our Christian friends the LDS. Maybe you should take it up with xyboom or Dee Dee.

If you don't I ultimately will. You CP have become an embarrassment to the TWeb community:)

We have the full support and agreement of both Boom and Dee Dee. If you think you know either of them that well, and then you believe they would object to us calling Mormonism not Christian, then you are sadly mistaken.

I object to the continuing harassment Bill which you seem to have no problem with.

Evidently, YOU do not see that as a problem either.

So you say what you want and I can say what I want. The ultimate solution is of course will be, which I am guessing will happen sooner or later, is that OC or Jeff will get tired of mistreatment and just leave.

Evidently, the conspiracy of BtC, CP, and CP will have succeeded then.

BTW, I have no problem with you calling them non-Christians or Rock Fish for all I care. But there is an organized effort by you, CP and Sparko (tell me you, CP and Sparko have not traded PM's on this) to harass the LDS believers on this forum. That is the essence and ONLY objection to their treatment here.

Xru, I do not care for Cow Poke's methodology, nor do I agree with what he is doing. But I understand why he is doing it--and it does not seem that you do.

To CP's mind (right or wrong, he is sincere in his beliefs), the Latter Day Saint's Church is nothing more and nothing less that living in a house that is on fire. CP sees himself as having rode up in the metaphorical fire-truck, is on the ladder, and is desperately trying to call people to leave the building. He is not trying to insult people for its own sake, but he is willing to sacrifice anything and everything--including the respect he receives from other Christians--to accomplish the goal of rescuing people from the fire.

You disagree--well, so do I. I view the LDS doctrines as wrong (just as I view mainstream Christianity as wrong), but largely harmless. I view CP's methodology as ineffective, in that it hardens the resolve of those who are in the LDS to stay there. But, at the end of the day, I cannot fault his motive.
Life sometimes needs to be grabbed by the throat and beaten with a lead pipe. ~ Sir Longpost, a good friend of mine.

I charge you and Sparko and CP with harassment. Does your harassment help anything?

I'm NOT going to sit buy and watch Any . . . you got that . . ANY . . . believers in Christ harassed . . . even if they are totally misguided.

If I'm breaking a rule then cite me or have me banned . . . otherwise I will go on defending who I want when I want to in a civilized manner.

Is there a rule against THAT Bill?

I will tell you that I have not traded any PMs with them to coordinate an effort to harass anyone. We HAVE discussed Jeff and OC in our mod area at times, but we have actually discussed the opposite of what you claim. We are all tired of Jeff and OC nit picking and bunny trailing the LDS threads in order to divert the conversations away from their doctrines. And you aren't helping matters either by jumping in and sniping us.
