Well, what if, within those few seconds, he had a near death experience in another galaxy far far away where he heard the gospel preached by Zorphaniatans, who were converted by time traveling Christian astronauts, and the Zorphaniatans, because of a warp in the time space continuum, had plenty of time to tell him about Jesus, baptize him, and return him to Earth to die a saved man?

Well, he MUST have been a mormon, if he taught that Christianity went astray after it was no longer being led by apostles.
After all, "real" Christians don't teach such preposterous lies, right? Only mormons make claims like that:

YOU should doubt it--he was a hell-bound non-Christian, so do you really expect him to be honest, especially when doing so would not be beneficial to Hinduism? : )
