Do YEC's eat bacon?

Thank you. Of course, for Jesus and the early Christians, the Bible was the Hebrew Bible but in the first century it is starting to be read in a different way, differently from the old Jewish tradition. Modern Rabbinic Judaism and modern Christianity emerge out of it somewhat in parallel. Clearly, the NT is influenced by the Hebrew Bible as you would expect, but it is repetition rather than reaffirmation. There is no new knowledge of the creation or the flood in the NT.
That's how I read it so far - repeating the Cohen Harvard lectures.

Well, considering that Christian YEC's follow the New Covenant, then yes, they are allowed to eat bacon.....they should still learn a little bit about science though.
