I'm all for decriminalizing marijuana use, even though I can't see the appeal in drugs that reduce brain control. I support such measures precisely because our nation is much better served by reducing our prisons-as-businesses model than by incarcerating thousands upon thousands of non-violent, casual use offenders. Even while high, a marijuana user is significantly less incapacitated and dangerous than an alcohol-user is while drunk.

Sure, if the health benefits were as costly. They're not, according to research, but still worse than not smoking at all. I don't want marijuana to be cheap or normative but making it illegal has just done much more harm than good.

Well, if you make the practice of venture capitalism illegal like drug dealing, then I guess the comparison has more validity as long as you changed the name to "illegal enterprise system".

You stated that Nathan was opposed to a Free Enterprise Economic system. Notice what is not referenced, so I am not sure what point it is you wish to make.

Regarding venture capitalism, I would not say that this practice is necessarily analogus to drug dealing other than perhaps, like drug dealers, venture capitalists are not necessarily concerned with the personal and/or community effects of their business dealings.
