God, yes, Adam and Eve, no they did NOT know the difference between good and evil from the beginning. They had only one rule, and they didn't even realize that being naked was shameful. Have you ever heard the phrase "that sure was an eye opener for me"? It means that they now understood these things, that they didn't before. Also, as Sparko observed, your DEFENDING Satan now?

It would seem then that it wasn't all a lie. God knows good and evil. Adam and Eve were unlike that, and then things changed and they DID know good and evil. Therefore became more like God at least in that aspect.

No more than you are saying that God blundered by planting a tree of knowledge of good and evil in the middle of the garden.

"Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.
And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in c\taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning."

But according LDS, they would have become at least 99% like God, since He is supposed to have a human body in your beliefs. Also, isn't there an LDS believe that Adam WAS God, and that Eve WAS His "eternal wife"?

Really? I guess I haven't seen it all, since I haven't seen what you are referring to.

      From the same article:

Certain similarities can be drawn between the two, though a significant difference exists in that Mormons believe that humanity may not only achieve God's holiness and perfection but also his essential divinity or godhood.

That is indeed a huge difference.

Lack of backing up your accusation noted. As far as I have seen, the closest OC has come to defending Satan was when I was criticizing some of you guys, and he told me I was being a bit harsh on you. : )

Satan lives in OC's basement -- in the furnace!

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.
