You have no idea what Riposte is. btw I've watched him interact online with Atheists since the mid 80s when we were on AOL and I can tell you that he gives each person he communicates with the respect they are do. if a person has shown they have studied or are willing to look into the what is being discussed seriously he takes them seriously but if the person shows that they haven't studied the matter in question and don't want to then he makes sure to show them for what they are, fools who are pretending to know what they are talking about when they don't.

An atheist in the thread then went on to cite his broader comment as evidence for his personal belief that one cannot reason their way into faith. And not to mention the absurd blanket dismissal of the entire 150 members of the Jesus Seminar as "non-experts" when they range from the likes of:
