"Yes. President Trump is a huge embarrassment. And it’s an embarrassment to evangelical Christianity that there appear to be so many who will celebrate precisely the aspects that I see Biblically as most lamentable and embarrassing." Southern Baptist leader Albert Mohler Jr.

So, it doesn't bother you that a Presidential candidate works with, or accept intelligence from, a foriegn adversary whose purpose is to undermine the democratic process and to undermine Democracy itself worldwide in order to get himself elected.
Exactly right, but you can't argue with these people. They're prepared to overlook the most glaring abuses and rationalise away the most egregious behaviour and blame it all on "fake news". But people are beginning to wake up. Trump's approval rating is 36%, the lowest for any president over the past 70 years, according to an ABC News/Washington Post poll.

        • Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz says that a candidate has the Constitutionally protected right to seek information from wherever they wish, and that trying to restrict this practice under campaign finance laws is a violation of the First Amendment. If the information was illegally acquired then you prosecute on that basis, if you can. Otherwise, Junior is in the clear.

You mean according to the same biased polling outfit that predicted Trump would never win the election.

I can't believe you idiots are still falling for this.

Not even Rasmussen with their super-dubious polling methodologies can make Trump's numbers look good.

that predicted Trump would never win the election.
Not sure you comprehend how polls work? They don't say that type of thing.

And, reminder, the general election popular vote was almost exactly as the polls predicted. The polls weren't wrong.

                Spin away, little man.

I'm still waiting for one of you special education geniuses to explain why Junior "attempting to collude" with Russia is a problem, but Hillary actually colluding with the Ukrainian government isn't.

                • Now the Russian lawyer gal is claiming she never had any information about Hillary and that it was all a ruse to get Junior's attention. Furthermore, she petitioned several different people, and Junior was (as far as we know) the only one to take the bait.

Yes, it really is. The Russian government directly employs almost 1 in every 3 Russians, and indirectly hires tons of people for temporary assignments and services. But, actual facts aren't your strong suit, are they?

So, it doesn't bother you that a Presidential candidate works with, or accept intelligence from, a foriegn adversary
That's too simple of a question. If the information provided by the adversarial group or country serves a greater good, like Pakistan providing information to the US on where Bin Laden was holed up in Tora Bora, then it isn't a problem. Intelligence gathering is never black and white. We work with people all the time who would be considered traitors to their nation if they are discovered. Fundy thinking on this issue is where you lot show your incompetence in matters of national security.

whose purpose is to undermine the democratic process
The only undermining of the democratic process that happened in this past election was CNN leaking debate questions to Hillary and Bernie getting railroaded out of the Dem nomination.

and to undermine Democracy itself worldwide in order to get himself elected.
Undermine democracy itself???... The democratic process wasn't undermined, nor could anyone do so with such simple methods as a single propaganda campaign. And exactly which "democratic process" do you think they undermined? Do you have any evidence that anyone changed their vote because of a "fake news" story that originated from Russian propaganda?

The only illegal thing that happened was the actual hacking. And the only proof ever offered was a Democrat hired firm making innuendoes based on similar attack methods as groups they themselves claimed were Russian agents.

although I think the Russians were playing both sides. They wanted to just sow hate and suspicion among the two parties. That way whoever won, they would be caught up in scandal after scandal and that would tie up the government for years and make us less effective as a nation.

In a statement Sunday, Trump Jr. said the attorney had said she had information that people tied to Russia were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Clinton, a description that Akhmetshin backed up in his interview with the AP.

In his first public interview about the meeting, Akhmetshin said he accompanied Veselnitskaya to Trump Tower where they met an interpreter. He said he had learned about the meeting only that day when Veselnitskaya asked him to attend. He said he showed up in jeans and a T-shirt.

Veselnitskaya brought with her a plastic folder with printed-out documents that detailed what she believed was the flow of illicit funds to the Democrats, Akhmetshin said. Veselnitskaya presented the contents of the documents to the Trump associates and suggested that making the information public could help the campaign...

Are the Democrats getting tangled up in their own net?

So basically if they want to convict Jr of receiving illicit information from the Russians, they have to admit that the DNC received illicit funds from the Russians? Catch-22. Nice.

                            Those Russians are pretty sneaky.
