I'm curious, given your general credulity and gullibility, what do you make of the fact that what she reported were illegal financial ties between Russia and Hillary's campaign? That's the one part of this story you won't touch with a ten-foot pole, and we know why.
I'm curious MountainDbag, what do you make of the $250 million tax fraud and money laundering of Bayrock? You know, that one where Trumps Russian mafia pal Felix Sater worked with FL group (a haven for Russian money laundering) that Trump signed off on, and helped Sater conceal his history of felony fraud.

Yeah, that story was beaten to death by the liberal media last year, and nothing came of it.

The plaintiffs in a 2015 racketeering case against Bayrock, Sater, and Arif, among others, alleged in the civil lawsuit that: “for most of its existence it [Bayrock] was substantially and covertly mob-owned and operated,” engaging “in a pattern of continuous, related crimes, including mail, wire, and bank fraud; tax evasion; money laundering; conspiracy; bribery; extortion; and embezzlement.” [...] the lawsuit does not allege complicity by Trump...

We need to keep in mind that those defending Trump like poor MM et al, are most likely suffering from stockholm syndrome. They've aligned themselves early on to Trump and so now their defense of Trump is really more of a defense of themselves. No one, in my opinion, who isn't as corrupt as Trump himself, would continue to be in Trumps corner at this stage unless they are pschologically bound.

Doesn't have to, MountainMoron. The special prosecutor, Robert Mueller, has a range of things he can look at in regards to financial ties Trump and his associates may have in Russia, and this will undoubtedly be looked into, as Mueller is looking into possible money laundering right now.

He can investigate all he wants, but seeing how the original investigation didn't implicate Trump, I'm not sure what you expect will happen here.

I see, so you take everything about this story at face value except for the parts that would sink your conspiracy theory.

You're as predictable as you are ignorant.

The best part is, he takes this lawyer at her word that Russia wanted to support Trump even though he admits she was a fraud, but he refuses to take Junior at his word that the information she brought concerned Hillary accepting illegal campaign contributions from Russia.

                      • Hmmmm!

                        Source: Associated Press

In a statement Sunday, Trump Jr. said the attorney had said she had information that people tied to Russia were funding the Democratic National Committee and supporting Clinton, a description that Akhmetshin backed up in his interview with the AP.

In his first public interview about the meeting, Akhmetshin said he accompanied Veselnitskaya to Trump Tower where they met an interpreter. He said he had learned about the meeting only that day when Veselnitskaya asked him to attend. He said he showed up in jeans and a T-shirt.

Veselnitskaya brought with her a plastic folder with printed-out documents that detailed what she believed was the flow of illicit funds to the Democrats, Akhmetshin said. Veselnitskaya presented the contents of the documents to the Trump associates and suggested that making the information public could help the campaign...

Are the Democrats getting tangled up in their own net?

                        • Lets see them.

The public has a right to now if any politicians or political parties are on the take from a foreign adversary that compromised the election.

But my guess is they don't exist, or Wikileaks/Trump would have shown them.

According to the NY Times Veselnitskaya is seen as fearsome Moscow insider whom lawyers and others in Moscow’s legal community regard as a trusted insider. She is counted on to argue and win important high-profile court cases that matter to the government and serve the interests of top Russian officials. IOW: Just the person to sound out Trump Jr etc re accepting Russian govt. help in winning the election.

It's basically a socialist nation, stupid. And the official's son toss-in is a guilt by association ploy.
It’s a nation run by the rich oligarch friends of the mafia king himself, i.e. Putin.

No it wasn't. The emails never stated Russia wanted to "HELP WIN" the election. They said the Russian Government SUPPORTED Trump - similar to French and British SUPPORT of Hillary Clinton.
No! Donald Trump Jr. was specifically informed in an email that the material was part of a Russian government effort to aid his father’s candidacy.

                            Utterly and hilariously false.
Wrong! It’s self evidenced that Trump Jr. “loved” the notion of colluding with Russia’s offer. He said so.

                            Coincidental at best.
                            Yeah right!

So many coincidences! All these Trump associates “forgetting” their meetings with Russian officials and Wikileaks starting shortly after the Trump Jr. meeting in Trump Tower...with Trump Sr. himself boasting a few days in advance that there will be “big news” re Hillary .
