Re: Jesus questions for mormons
I on the other hand, have no intention of apologizing for my remark that nrajeff is acting like a 5-year old. I'm not in the business of apologizing for stating the truth.
Not to mention that, if we ignore the fact that there is nothing to apologize for, apologizing to nrajeff would send a sign to nrajeff that he is right about being some kind of victim suffering unjust persecution, when in fact, his general conduct is the major (if not sole) reason of the treatment he's been given.

Completely understandable. I have NOT apologized for calling Jeff a Drama Queen.

My apology for calling Jeff a Moron was sincere, and I stand by it. I honestly do not believe Jeff is a Moron.

How about you "edify" us by telling us how hurtful an insult NEEDS to be in order to qualify as an insult? If insults aren't insults as long as the person you insult doesn't take them as insults, then why are the moderators here? Why do they hand out infractions?
Apparently the MODERATORS think that there actually is such a thing as insulting behavior, and apparently the moderators have SOME criteria by which they make SOME decisions regarding which insults to delete and punish the poster for posting, and which insults to "let slide.""I think we may accept it as a rule that whenever a person's
religious conversation dwells chiefly, or even frequently,
on the faults of other people's religions, she/he is in a bad condition."

Well, my comment was purely sarcastic, and wasn't quite what like you said about him acting like a five year old. I am basically saying, that if I was truly so hurtful that he can't stand it(this was a purely sarcastic remark, but the one where I called him the "drama king"(to be nice I didn't use "queen" since he was so upset about that one)) than I am sorry. however, if he continues to be a "drama queen", then I will call him on it. Also, other than that one comment, nothing I said had been meant as a sarcastic jab. So, I will try to refrain from sarcastic jabs, but I will not withhold the truth from him when he is acting out. That ok with you Chrawnus? What about you Jeff?

That's okay--I don't plan on apologizing for saying that you are acting like a ONE-year-old. 'Cause "I don't apologize for telling the truth," etc.
Blather away. As BTC says, "Who cares?"I'm not in the business of apologizing for stating the truth.

Re: Jesus questions for mormons
I think you should acknowledge the fact that remarks can qualify as a personal attack EVEN IF the person you say it to CAN stand it. I.e., whether or not your remark is a personal attack does not depend on how thick the skin of the person you attacked is.
So the callous "You need to grow a thick skin" does not magically make the insult a non-insult. Jesus probably had a very thick skin, but the people who mocked and abused Him were STILL guilty of mocking and abusing Him."I think we may accept it as a rule that whenever a person's
religious conversation dwells chiefly, or even frequently,
on the faults of other people's religions, she/he is in a bad condition."

Re: Jesus questions for mormons
Like I said in my post to Chrawnus, it was a sarcastic jab, and considering how even then you did not take offense, I didn't think that it was something that was 'out of bounds". Now, some of the stuff that YOU have called lpot, now I think that it was a bit out of line, but she's not complaining about it, and i will leave it up to her if she wants to say anything about it. Also, if you knew my family, then you would understand where I am coming from. I am regularly called names, and for no reason other than them being silly, from what I had observed so far, I had thought you would have been ok with a few good natured jabs. I guess I had read you all wrong.
