Statement of fact, Jeff. And he was a liar and a false prophet, so I really don't take it on a personal level.

      Waaaah!"
      You do that so well.

You REALLY can't help yourself, can you! In your goofy accusations, you're just doing more whining!

Let's see it again in German....

      2 Tim 2:1-2

Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.

That is classic hypocrisy. It should be the dictionary definition's entry for it.

"When you LDS have a problem with what we antis say, it's whining, but when we antis have a problem with something one of you LDS said, it's 'statement of fact.' "

Instead of "have a Snickers" I think in your case we should tell you to have some Doubleminded....er, Doublemint Gum.

Well, the way you guys redefine terms, that should work!

"When you LDS have a problem with what we antis say, it's whining, but when we antis have a problem with something one of you LDS said, it's 'statement of fact.' "
Is it NOT a statement of fact, Jeff, that your "prophet" declared all other religions apostate?

Instead of "have a Snickers" I think in your case we should tell you to have some Doubleminded....er, Doublemint Gum.
Doubleminded? Ever since I came to the conclusion that Joseph Smith is a false prophet, and the Book of Mormon is a work of fiction, I haven't wavered a single bit, Jeff.

Is this another classic CP "summation"?

Maybe you can do a little research and find the actual quotes from Joseph Smith.
"Behold, I am Jesus Christ, whom the prophets testified shall come into the world.
And behold, I am the light and the life of the world; and I have drunk out of that bitter cup which the Father hath given me, and have glorified the Father in c\taking upon me the sins of the world, in the which I have suffered the will of the Father in all things from the beginning."

OR, you can actually respond and "clarify".

Maybe the part that you aren't getting, is that Jesus' existence dates back to BEFORE He was the God of Israel, BEFORE the world even existed. It's THAT part of His existence I was referring to.

Maybe you should just learn it from Gospel Principles.

      http://www.lds.org/manual/gospel-principles?lang=eng

I don't pretend to be able to explain it better than it can.
False dichotomy? You are the one who told Cerebrum that he didn't know what he was talking about when he asked if Jesus was a God in the OT times. Then you said he was just "god-like" and now you are saying he is and was a God.

      Make up your mind Jeff.

so just God-LIKE and not actually a God. OK. Jeff seems to disagree with you (and apparently himself) now.

The Father is not conjoined with the Son in their essence, more accurately. But they are ONE God in every other conceivable and inconceivable manner--except being of the one essence as essence is defined by the creeds.
so is he a God or just God-Like?

You seem to be disagreeing with your first statement above now.

That's a clown question, bro. And you are the clown.
Translation: "oops, Sparko found another gaping hole in the LDS theology. I better ignore it and insult him instead"

OC, the Father in LDS theology doesn't do squat, other than give birth to our spirits and do P.A. announcements out of the clouds once in a while. Jesus did everything else. He was Jehovah in the OT. He was the Creator who made everything. He is the Judge who judges everyone. He is the Savior who saves everyone.

Wrong yet again. (Do you ever get tired of being wrong so frequently?)

OC spelled it out in the very post you were mocking: "from before the foundation of the earth"

That is not the Old-Testament era, FYI. Both OC and I agree with the LDS doctrine on this.
Oops, Sparko failed to find yet another hole in the reasoning he's basing his idiotic shenanigans on.
