A Glory Seed Devotional
For Ron…
Victory Tree For You.jpg
There are times when victory seems so far away, like a tiny star millions and millions of light years away. There are times when darkness invades our lives so fast we are swept off our feet and find ourselves floundering in a miss-mash of cloudy days and starless and moonless nights. But deep in our heart is a light, not a light of electromagnetic energy but a light of victory, a light that cannot be extinguished.
The light I am writing about is deep inside shinning and working not in your world but in the world of Jesus, in a world where defeat becomes victory, in a world where conflict becomes peace, in a world where illness and disease becomes healing, in a world where death becomes life. The light I am writing about while planted as a tiny seed contains the spiritual power of a million suns and is fittingly illustrated by the prophet Isaiah, and Ron my friend you know these words well because they are living words that have already illuminated the dark nights Jesus has already seen you through.
Read them!
Memorize them!
Believe them!
Trust them!
Feast on them!
Take them as you walk in the shadows of death!
Live them!
“Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” (Isaiah 40:28-31 ESV)
Ron, my friend God will never grow tired of strengthening you and no matter how faint your light becomes Jesus’ light will always shine not only in your life but out of your life as a shiny beacon as well. Enjoy the victory my friend, enjoy!
By the way, if your name is not Ron that doesn’t mean this message isn’t for you all you need to do is to substitute your name for Ron.
Grace and PEACE!
Gary

My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”
