No. We do deny the corrupt creeds of Christianity though. Your understanding of the Bible has been wholly tainted and steered wrongly by your adherence to these creeds.

And yours has been enlightened by a prankster who called himself a prophet.

      Re: The Atonement

how come it's OK for OC to call our creeds "corrupt" and our church "apostate" but he and jeff get upset if we call Smith a con man or claim their teachings are not true?

Them calling us or our beliefs corrupt or apostate doesn't really bother me, but it just seems like they are wanting a double standard.

Because THEY are allowed to have persecution complexes, and we're not!

      And this surprises you?

If your premise was correct, then it wouldn't be OK. But since it's YOU who has the double standard, your whole complaint is moot.

I have never gotten upset with your claims that LDS teachings are untrue, since that is an assertion that can be debated to determine how accurate it is.

It's your HISTORY OF PERSONAL INSULTS that has gotten tiresome, stale, and is now even bankrupt of any entertainment value, let alone substantive material for a rational discourse of doctrines.

You want to explore whether your false, paganistic beliefs are somehow superior to LDS ones? Fine. But first, leave the PERSONAL INSULTS at home. STOP sending them through the Internet for the public to see.

THEN you're good to go, as far as I am concerned.

No--you're allowed to have your own persecution complex, but apparently you're not allowed to acknowledge it.

How long is this little "everybody is mean to me" drama going to continue, Jeff? Is there no end in sight?

Remember when you said you wanted to start over and we all agreed to do so and stop the insults, and JB even came up with a contract and then you would not agree to that, and then you insulted Ke7, one of your own, and then all bets were off?

      Remember that?

You have the ability and freedom to stop being mean anytime you want to. Unless you're admitting that you are addicted to being mean, in which case kicking the habit could prove to be very difficult.

I remember giving you and me one more chance to stop the mockery. We all blew that chance. Any other questions?

I don't generally call your creeds corrupt unless provoked. I know you probably expect higher standards from the LDS than yourself, but...yes, I can be provoked.
