Of course, acknowledging reality is no fun in a place like this one, so what must be done is INVENT a FAKE argument and then try to get me to defend some claim that I never made--classic straw man.

And since they're not apostles or prophets or something like that, I feel perfectly comfortable with that (in theological terms, obviously some terrible things happened)

Well, you're kinda twisting here a bit. NONE of us thinks our guys were "inerrant", Jeff. You know that full well. My comment was about Brigham Young, in particular, teaching wacky stuff, apparently NOT your doctrine, according to OC, though he (BY) claimed that it WAS doctrine.
