Still no answer forthcoming.
He has showed you, O man, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God. (Micah 6:8)

Or maybe not.

Re: Paganistic?
I admit that you and your gang fretting over what you can come up with next to attack someone, is a waste of time. Not that I want you to stop wasting it, necessarily, since as long as you're wasting your time in an obscure forum dreaming up your next insult, you're not doing something worse....

Re: Paganistic?
Sorry we don't subscribe to your "everybody is alright" mantra. We believe in truth, and we defend those seeking truth from deception. You may consider it a waste of time, but there is no higher calling than defending the innocent from ravenous wolves who seek to corrupt them with false doctrines.
Sorry, Jeff. You're really not that important to me. Don't get me wrong though. I would love for you to see the truth that Mormonism is a lie. That's why I do spend some time here. But, I've come to realize that your brainwashing is far too complete for me to fix on my own (or even with the help of the others on here). You are in desperate need of the real savior, and only He can break the chains you so willingly are shackled with. I have now simply resigned myself to pray for your soul and to refute the claims of Mormonism that you make. Not that I want you to stop wasting it, necessarily, since as long as you're wasting your time in an obscure forum dreaming up your next insult, you're not doing something worse....I may not yet be as old as dirt, but dirt and I are starting to have an awful lot in common... Do you have any hair left Jeff or have you pulled it all out?

Re: Paganistic?
Have my posts been suggesting that I think you guys and what you're doing here are ALL RIGHT? Dang--I guess I haven't been assertive or direct enough. I thought I had been expressing it plainly enough, but....
You believe in further insults when someone questions your previous insults. That has nothing to with truth, nor with defending truth. We believe in truth, and we defend those seeking truth from deception.
Just keep telling yourself that's what you're doing here. You may consider it a waste of time, but there is no higher calling than defending the innocent from ravenous wolves who seek to corrupt them with false doctrines.
Does that mean I can expect you to quit posting?Sorry, Jeff. You're really not that important to me.
The truth is that you haven't really tried much at all to help me, unless your definition of "help" is "to bombastically attack with scathing insults."But, I've come to realize that your brainwashing is far too complete for me to fix on my own (or even with the help of the others on here).
It's safe to say that this forum ain't saving anyone. You are in desperate need of the real savior, and only He can break the chains you so willingly are shackled with.
So you DO intend to continue wasting your time? Fine with me, but the "you're not worth it" comment had me thinking that it had dawned on you that you might have more constructive things to do than pretend to be smarter than everyone else with your pronouncements of what the Bible really says, and your ad hominems.I have now simply resigned myself to pray for your soul and to refute the claims of Mormonism that you make."I think we may accept it as a rule that whenever a person's
religious conversation dwells chiefly, or even frequently,
on the faults of other people's religions, she/he is in a bad condition."

Re: Paganistic?
I was not referring to the posts here. I am referring to your article of faith:
11. We claim the privilege of worshiping Almighty God according to the dictates of our own conscience, and allow all men the same privilege, let them worship how, where, or what they may
It has EVERYTHING to do with defending truth against those who are enemies of it. As an enemy of truth, you deserve nothing more from me than shaming. You do not desire to know the true Gospel. You are content with the false one of Mormonism, and you entice others to follow in your error. You believe in further insults when someone questions your previous insults. That has nothing to with truth, nor with defending truth.
You have no clue what motivates me, Jeff.Just keep telling yourself that's what you're doing here.
No. While YOU may not be that important to me, truth is.Does that mean I can expect you to quit posting?
We had a pretty tame conversation on the lack of historicity of the Book of Mormon a few years ago, and the Mayans culture and record keeping. I've presented you the truth several times, and you have soundly rejected it. Since I perceive that you have no interest in accepting the truth we offer, then you become like the Nicolaitans. The truth is that you haven't really tried much at all to help me, unless your definition of "help" is "to bombastically attack with scathing insults."
Really? I beg to differ. We have had several people come to Christ on this web site, and they claim a direct thanks to TWeb. I've also had more than one PM from users who were investigating Mormonism with the missionaries, and they read MY posts here, and rejected the false doctrines they were being instructed in by the missionaries. It's safe to say that this forum ain't saving anyone.
As long as you spew false doctrines, yes.So you DO intend to continue wasting your time?
I did not say "you are not worth it". I said, "You are not that IMPORTANT to me." There is a difference.Fine with me, but the "you're not worth it" comment had me thinking that it had dawned on you that you might have more constructive things to do than pretend to be smarter than everyone else with your pronouncements of what the Bible really says, and your ad hominems.
And I am not pretending to be smarter than everyone. That's just your passive-aggressive paranoia channeling Jo again.I may not yet be as old as dirt, but dirt and I are starting to have an awful lot in common... Stephen Donaldson - Author of my favorite series (The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant)
