Still spitting yellow every two days. (Ok, today was yellowish instead.) I saw the doctor today. Got an antibiotic. Had a temp of 101.

      Re: infection not going away

I have orange on my tongue. I can't get rid of it. I take a GNC multivitamin daily, so I doubt it is a B deficiency. I have read that it could be a bacterial or fungal infection or that it could be from gird or from an H Pilori infection. I have not been particularly symptomatic since last week when I started the new antibiotic, Bactrim I think. I did spit out yellow yesterday morning. I know I have not had enough sleep regularly this last week. I have had an increase in burps since a week or so after my chest injury before this all began. I did a 14 day course of Omeprazole but missed some doses and stuff. If anyone has any thoughts on this, please let me know.

GNC? Stay away from any pill using dicalcium phosphate as a filler. Try a company using natural fillers, like Rainbow Light. They digest rather better.

I had an hour and a half. I ended up making a list of things I needed to do involving coordinating with people, sent two texts, and a couple emails. Then I slept from 6 to 7:30. I just got an herb/melatonin supplement from the drug store. I may go back and get the ginseng supplement one of these days to try toward a goal of resetting my body clock.

I don't see dicalcium phosphate in my vitamins. I looked them up online and there are more ingredients than on the bottle Either way, all of this started before I got these vitamins. My mom's asthma improved on them because of the b vitamins and antioxidants than they have. Dicalcium phosphate side effects noted including exacerbating pre-existing including stomach problems.

I got probiotic and enzyme samples at the health food store, and will wait to try the other supplement without samples that has peppermint as peppermint can trigger gird which I had as a child.

DG, are talking about gerd, gastroesophagal reflux disease? Nasty. It may sound foolish, but I find garlic helps with mine. Plus now I am on Prilosec.

That's probably how it is supposed to be spelled. I had that as a kid. I read that orange tongues can be caused by that. I was actually taking garlic supplements while I had the cough. I had garlic burps for a while. When I took my left over oregano oil supplement from two years ago, really made me want Italian for lunch/dinner.

Does Prilosec come in a 30 day supply? I was on something with a 30 day supply when I was at the student health services like four years ago. I had heart burn pain that time that went away with things like eating bread but showed up approx. daily when I saw the doctor there.

I guess I will try a whole bunch of stuff between tomorrow and mid-Monday and check with the doctor if I am still orange along the tongue.

Prilosec comes in 21 day packages. You are advised not to take more than one three week treatment with out clearing it with your doctor. I have never been diagnosed as GERD, but I do have a hiatal hernia which may or may not be related or even the same thing.

Doctor thought it was a fungal infection. She gave me a mouthwash and did a blood test to check my liver as a precaution. I also have a two month supply of Prilosec.
