Question: If God, told you to kill your child, would you do it? If you answer "no", congratulations, you're an atheist.

If God told you something, and you're still an atheist, you're either insane or really, really stupid.
"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.

The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.

And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

Answer the question. Jesus tells you to obey him. He gives you an innocent baby and a sword, and commands you to slit the baby's throat. WOULD YOU DO IT?

I can't handle a sword. I'm quite small. I'm not so sure this is Jesus speaking if he just handed me a sword.

Would you kill a baby if Jesus ordered you to do it, and the only explination he gives you is "because I'm God and you MUST obey"?

I don't know what an "explination" is. It's not in my dictionary.

(Keep asking stupid questions and you will keep getting stupid answers, for the record.)

If you're asking that, it's because you're an idiot. You probably also ask questions such as: "What is fire?" "What am the sky?" and "How does eat food?"

Your challenge fails either way. The question was already popped to old Abe, his kid came off walking either way.

Got any more emotional diatribes to toss at us? I yearn for a real challange.

You have to obey God. It's right there in the bible. So would you kill a baby if he told you to?
