There is an older lady in my church (late 70s) who has become quite close to my family over the years. She's been in assisted living recently as she is not really able to walk anymore. We found out this week that she has had undiscovered osteoperosis (not sure about the spelling there) for about ten years and is going to have to have life-threatening surgery this week to avoid being a paraplegic for the rest of her life. (This is an upgrade over what was initially thought; her family had been considering calling hospice). Any prayers would be greatly appreciated.
