I had a message waiting for me online yesterday morning from an old friend - they had a place i could stay. The home owner is in assisted living and the family is letting me use the house.
The utilities are on - except internet (and cable or i just can't use a remote any more) - and I can have any food still good (plenty of that). Washer and dryer both work. It's unbelievable.
There's a porch for the kitties and a small fenced area for the pups (Houdini the Dog has already made his first performance
). Two bathrooms, five bedrooms, a ham radio tower (yes, really) and an attached shop - and fully furnished - let's not forget that!
I wanted four walls and working mechanicals - and I was willing to negotiate on the mechanicals - and God gave me a wonderland instead.
I feel so - I don't know what to call it - happy is too weak, overjoyed is too buoyant, nothing in between expresses the joy and wonder I feel.
God is SOOOOO good!
