Re: God-particle article slams religion
I said nothing about the sun burning coal and it was talkorigins which said "the neutrino was first invented as an ad hoc hypothesis, in order to save the laws of conservation of energy and momentum from falsification (when attempting to prove the theory of nuclear energy as the sun's energy source.)" Talkorigins also said, "Now ad hoc hypotheses, invented purely to save our favorite theories, are generally frowned upon in science, and for good reason." Tell me about it.
The bottom line is that if you evolutionists do not like what other evolutionists are reporting in their articles, then you boys need to get that fixed for yourselves. Creationists already know the truth and these kinds of problems among evolutionists are not going to be solved by the sensible reporting of creationists alone.

I don't agree with the interpretation of it as God-Particle. It doesn't have the complexity to create the universe. One Higgs does not make the universe. Why am I not impressed when they say the Higgs proof for anti-theism? I think the opposite can occur when you look at the data correctly.
There is so much negativity that seems to hold the universe together.

Duh! The whole 'God particle' terminology is a side issue:
from http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Higgs_bosonIn mainstream media it is often referred to as "the God particle", after the title of Leon Lederman's book on the topic (1993). Although the proposed particle is both important and elusive, the epithet is strongly disliked by physicists, who regard it as inappropriate sensationalism since the particle has nothing to do with God nor any mystical associations, and because the term is misleading: the crucial focus of study is to learn how the symmetry breaking mechanism takes place in nature - the search for the boson is part of, and a key step towards, this goal. One blue sky above us
