If you met your spouse after college, how did you meet your spouse?

Re: Married people who met after college
My husband owned a barbershop and since I was at a loss for how to use my degree, I worked in a shop next door. His barbershop was an interesting place to hang around in on my breaks, and one thing led to another....

Work. We were both teaching in the same school, which had a small number of staff - so we got to know each other quite quickly.

Church. My wife and a friend of hers visited our church and happened to know my roommate.

Re: Married people who met after college
We met in Seminary. We had the same Hebrew class together. She already knew Hebrew but was new to the school and so was auditing the class to make sure she was on the same page with the OT department there. She was clearly the smartest person in the room and I said "i have to meet her." And I did. And we got married. Ahh Hebrew. The language of love.

My most recent faith struggle is not one of intellect. I don't really do that anymore. Sooner or later you just figure out there are some guys who don't believe in God and they can prove He doesn't exist, and some other guys who can prove He does exist, and the argument stopped being about God a long time ago and now it's about who is smarter, and honestly, I don't care. ~ Don Miller Blue Like Jazz

"Years ago, I mean decades ago, I read a quote about politicians performing quid pro quo favors for campaign cash, and whether or not we could prove it. The guy who was quoted opined that it was difficult to determine. He noted that in many cases, the payoff might not take the form of votes on legislative action -- those might be detectable, and so are avoided -- but could take subtler forms, like the question that is never asked at a hearing.
The media's doing a terrific job of not asking questions it doesn't want to know the answer to. It doesn't ask these questions in bulk, and the great volume of questions it doesn't ask makes it cheap to not ask questions.
And it passes these savings on to you, the customer." Ace

Excellent point; forgive me my oversight. I should have stated, rather, to be at least equally as cautious online as offline.
It's amazing I should be so absent-minded... Failing to take my own experience into account (I met a real winner off the grid at one point)...

Yes. I am quite cautious - my cautious nature is perhaps one major reason I have been single as long as I have. While I would eventually like a godly woman to share my life with, to me, getting involved with somebody just for the sake of having someone is unthinkable and a recipe for misery.
The right of way is a wild goose chase. It makes you wonder if shooting for stars is like darts in the dark.

I met my husband online. I was very cautious about it and obviously, it worked out.
