BROKE: New FEC Report Shows DNC Finished June $3.3 Million in Debt

    Joshua Caplan Jul 20th, 2017 11:28 pm 926 Comments
Under the leadership of former Obama official Tom Perez, a new FEC report reveals the DNC finished the month of June $3.3 million in debt.

They’re broke. Just like their policies.
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Wow, so Putin's stealing money from the DNC now, too?
I DENOUNCE DONALD J. TRUMP AND ALL HIS IMMORAL ACTS.

Maybe they should have invested the money in Trump's companies?

It's probably because their entire supporter base is built out of people who want money handed to them, instead of donating it to others. Hard to build up your coffers when everyone in your organization is holding their hands out.

            Excepting a few wealthy donors.

DNC candidates are funded by the overwhelmingly liberal billionaire class. More likely that the DNC is grossly incompetent so they don't want to shovel money down the furnace like they did with Hillary.

I've been reading articles the last couple months saying that their fundraising for that particular month were at record lows or the worst it had been in decades. After all, why pay good money for folks to chant the exact same thing that the MSM has been droning incessantly about for 8 straight months, and for free.

I'm always still in trouble again

From the linky in the OP....

In contrast, the RNC is on an amazing financial run, having raised a whopping $13.4 million in June.

Whoops, for some reason I thought the article ended earlier, and accidentally didn't end up reading the whole thing, so I missed that. Thanks.

The RNC is currently in control of government, so they're the ones the billionaires need to bribe currently. If and when the DNC is in control of government, the bribes from the billionaires will flow to them.

Need I harp on about the merits of getting corruption out of politics so that politicians aren't on the puppet-strings of a few rich mega-donors and don't literally spend hours each day on the phone calling up their large donors and asking for more money? Imagine a world where the politicians were responsive to the people who elected them and had the voters' best interests at heart and where democracy was really government by the people and for the people.

Well I live in a country where it's (mostly) reality, so it doesn't seem idealistic or utopian.

I saw today Adam Schiff (Dem) has introduced a constitutional amendment to the House to try and reduce corruption. It will probably die down party lines like all anti-corruption legislation does in the US, with the Dems for it and Republicans against it.

Which of course explains why the Republicans didn't have any trouble raising money when Obama and the Democrats had a far tighter grip on the government. Likewise the Republicans controlled the House and Senate when Bush was elected and yet the Democrats had no difficulty raising money.
