Re: What Did You Think of the New Batman Movie? (spoilers)
I had to look the name up. It's the teenaged protagonist in that Hunger Games book/movie. I saw the movie, and thought it was enjoyable. A lot of people seem enthralled by it, which I'm not sure I really get. I really liked the art direction in the film though, especially the costumes and hair.

Drive-by Hunger Games enthusiasm. WOO.
But yeah, it's a dystopia, not fantasy. Fits more in a strict sci-fi category.

Eh, I tend to throw post-apocalyptic stuff into its own category, but it's definitely closer to a sci-fi than a fantasy.
Also, Mockingjay is...not as good as the first two.

I love Mockingjay. =P
I've always been like that, though. I love Deathly Hallows, too.

Deathly Hallows is my second favorite after Goblet of Fire.
This might not be the right place for this discussion.

I haven't seen any Harry Potter films. Or the Hunger Games. Heck, I haven't even seen the LOTR films.

Guys, let's remember who this thread is about.

Re: What Did You Think of the New Batman Movie? (spoilers)
Excellent end to the series.
If Christopher Nolan wrote comic books, they'd be the type to have lost of big pose splash pages with the hero and the villain in POWER POSES while 10 layers of text boxes and dialogue trees littered the background. (If Christopher Nolan made videogames, he'd be Bioware.) In Inception, this was annoying, off-putting, and distracting, in this one, not so much, since everyone knew the backstory already.
PROTIP: KH: Dream Drop Distance does the Inception thing far better with less dialogue and more LENS FLARE.
The movie is like the perfect antidote to Prometheus' head-smacking stupidity and not-so-crypto-gay elitism, as those who follow the lessons of their professional experience are revered and rewarded, while those who put their faith in ideological purity, superior physiques, Machievellian maneuvering, and obsessing over thesubtleslow knife of revenge are all killed appropriately horribly by their own short-sightedness.
Also, Christopher Nolan can cast a woman with actual breasts and actual vulnerability, which is a sight more heterosexual than making a movie where the female nudity is nonexistent and the male cast get variously penetrated by alien tentacles. In reaction to Richwine Affair, all right-thinking people are quick to proclaim that they don’t believe in a genetic basis for IQ. They’re much less quick to explain – with any sort of precision – what they actually do believe in. At best, we’re treated to some hand-waving paired with the phrase “social construct.”.
