wonder why?? (cough sensor his arguments cough strawman him cough) i do agree some ignorance is unforgivable, and believing in a magic sky daddy who can do anything EXCEPT forgive you for not believing in him (without evidence) is a case in point.

Re: August 2012 Screwballs
man alive the stupid, it burns:
"oh, just that folks noticed they [Chick Fil-A] were funding anti-marriage-rights stuff and CFA was all "well that's how we roll as a company we don't believe some people should be allowed to get married"
"it would make more sense if they were like "it is our policy to have separate drinking fountains for the gays"
Then someone posed this: http://brandlessblog.com/wp-content/...ding-bible.jpg
"Fifty shekels, by the way, is $12.65. It turns out buying a wife by raping her is actually /really cheap/. I'm guessing that only works on unmarried women with living fathers though. so I guess if you rape anyone who's already had sex they don't have to marry you and you don't have to pay the thirteen bucks. Rape of a married woman is a death sentence and nothing happens to her. God doesn't seem to care about unmarried non-virgins. I guess she'd fall under prisoners of war, and then you get her for free"
Another person said: whoa whoa whoa, back up. Solomon had 700 wives?"
The first person replied: "Allegedly. He probably had like five and lived in a tent, but you know how people are with their myth-making. I also suspect he was not actually the wisest man ever to live and also never sealed 72 djinn in a brass vessel. The great thing about djinn is that you can just show people the brass vessel and SAY you have however many djinn in there. I mean don't go crazy with it, it has to be believeable. hey won't go for it if you're like "yeah I've totally got like... ten thousand djinn in here. It helps if you're King and then nobody questions your brass vessel"
Someone questioned the Israelites' mathematical skills and the guy said:
Jews were great at math, other folks maybe not so much, but then most of those folks are extinct so when the Persians and Jews say the Hittites were a bunch of retards we have to take their word for it. And after all if they were smarter maybe they wouldn't be extinct. The Romans were good at math too, and the Greeks. now that I think about it maybe it was just the Europeans and Slavs who were illiterate dimwits because I can't think of any ancient Mediterranean or Near-Eastern civilizations who were no good at keeping track of stuff. If there were any, we wouldn't know about them except through the writing of people who DID keep track of stuff."Last edited by OfficialPro; August 1st 2012 at 03:00 PM.

Re: August 2012 Screwballs
I wish nominate the Outside the Camp website which has to be has to be one of the most ridiculous professing Christian websites on the Internet. They have a "heterodox hall of shame" where they put famous Christians, past and present who they believe were/are not really saved, usually because they believed Arminians are saved or believe that Calvinists who believe Arminians are saved are saved. It's just so goofy. They have just about every famous Calvinist who ever lived in there, including John Calvin himself! Name any Calvinist from the past you can think of and you can rest assured they will be in there. Jonathan Edwards, Charles Spurgeon, even John Gill! If you believe what Marc Carpenter says, then you would have to conclude that hardly anyone has been saved in 2000 years of Christian History! What a loony! The Westminster Confession is there too!

Socially autistic atheist on YouTube to JPH:
Hi ***! Remember me? You blocked me because I said "bad things" about you on your comments page! You are one of the most gutless wimp's I've ever encountered. You block anyone who disagrees with your retarded religion because even you know it can't withstand any criticism. You're a typical faith head. You want everyone to believe you are the "village wise man", but in reality you are the "village idiot". Your religion is for moronic pedophiles. And you're a ***! Reply if you have the balls

Then Morgoth turned upon Húrin, and he said: 'Fool, little among Men, and they are the least of all that speak! Have you seen the Valar, or measured the power of Manwë and Varda?
Do you know the reach of their thought? Or do you think, perhaps, that their thought is upon you, and that they may shield you from afar?'
'I know not,' said Húrin. 'Yet so it might be, if they willed. For the Elder King shall not be dethroned while Arda endures.'

I'm starting to think that JP should just keep that comment up there, block the user, and then reply to it, saying something like "This is an example of the type of behavior that'll get you banned regardless of what side you're on." That way, people at least can't complain that he blocks people "just for disagreeing with his views."

Why do so many of these atheist think they are the center of the universe?

Re: August 2012 Screwballs
Apparently, Kenneth on Facebook really doesn't get people who oppose dispensationalism.
the rel reason that the pseudo-Christian cults despise dispensationalism, is for the same reason that they can tolerate the acceptance of the Biblical doctrine of the pre-trib Harpazo...Dispensationalism is a methodoly of Scriptural interpretation and analyses that place the Person and Word (ie Deity) of JESUS CHRIST as The focal point...and ibeing rabid Christ-rejecting heretics, they cannot, spiritually, comprehend, nor acccept this reality....
oh, and one other very important and relevant reason why the heretics hate Dispensationalism...Dispensationalism, and it's methodology, of interpretating Scripture in a literal as opposed to allegorical manner, makes a clear and definite distinction between the Bride of Christ (ie. the New Testament Church), and the Nation of Israel...and like the RCC, the pseudo-Christian cults and preterists, lack any Biblical understanding relative to correct Biblical Ecclesiology (as well as Eschatology)....

Check out this picture that someone sent to Mike Huckabee's Facebook page:

It was apparently taken in front of a Chick-Fil-A in Chicago. You know, the city whose mayor said "Chick-Fil-A's values are not Chicago's values."Last edited by fm93; August 1st 2012 at 04:10 PM.

Re: August 2012 Screwballs
So I challenged Kenny to demonstrate his claims and got this back.
..dont have to explain...the fact that you admit (?) to being an 'orthodox preteris', is self explanatory relative to your complete lack of Biblical knowledge pertaining to Israel and Eschatology...I would strongly advice you read your New Testament (if you got one)...and perhaps you should start with the Book of Revelation...that Book aloneisrefutes and rejects any plausible veracity in the preterist postion...

As to my current beliefs in eschatology, I would probably best fit under Dispensationalist, but I think that that guy is WAY over the line with his statements.

Actually I can't because he posted that on someone else's channel -- NonReductionist's (formerly ReligionFreeDeist), and a vid where he was speaking Greek to his chiahuahua and where I had made a comment. Not very civil to NR/RFD.
I had already blocked the troll for this comment on a NoSCo vid:
My reply:Your videos aren't near as entertaining as NonStampCollector's.

Re: August 2012 Screwballs
MOAR: (from a guy I like to refer to as 'Special Ed' (not to be confused with Ed Babinski):
Special Ed: "the religion I miss is the Persian one, Zoroastrianism. It got displaced by Islam which is much less interesting"
Other Person: "What was Zoroastrianism about"
Special Ed: it's sort of a chaos vs. order, fire vs. darkness religion where evil deeds cause you to become a thing of evil and attract evil to yourself so your punishment is karmic, and vice versa. In its basic tenets it's not really very unusual or remarkable but that's because it influenced modern religions so much, being the Persian religion which was a big deal then. like, the development of the idea of good and evil gods that is such a big thing in judaism and its offshoots is attributable to Zoroastrianism. the God of the Old Testament is not a god of goodness nor is he an evil god, nor does he have an opposing force. There is no dark power. There is no hell and there is no heaven. The early Jews had a single afterlife, Sheol, the darkness, which was a place of ghosts without moral judgement. That stuff all got tacked on much later and basically ripped off from Zoroastrian dualism (and a lot of other stuff). Practically all modern Western religions are built largely from Zoroastrianism. which is easy since the two main versions (Christianity and Islam) are just elaborations on the first version (Judaism) so it makes me sad that Zoroastrianism is so displaced now, it's like if everybody in Italy forgot how to speak Italian (which is essentially Vulgar Latin, from whence English comes) because they all adopted English so they could work at Wal-Mart"
Person 3: well a lot of natve languges/cultures ARE vanishing and being gobbled up by their neighbors.
Special Ed: "Yes, but this one is especially disappointing because it is the ancient and storied wellspring of the degraded nasty version which has displaced it. it is like tearing down a library to replace it with a movie theatre"Leela crack corn and I don't care, Frye crack corn, I still don't care, Bender crack corn, and he is GREAT!
