  • Has the DNC "hacker" been caught?

This latest development is very interesting...

    ----------

(Breitbart) The Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) is reportedly investigating several smashed hard drives seized from the home of two Pakistan-born brothers who worked as IT workers for former DNC chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL).

“The suspects in this probe are people who worked for a long time for Democratic members in the House,” Daily Caller investigative reporter Luke Rosiak reportedly told FOX Business Network. “Brothers named Imran Awan, Abid Awan and Jamal Awan and they are criminal suspects,” Rosiak said. “Imran worked for Debbie Wasserman Schultz for a long time.”

Breitbart News previously reported that a federal employee with knowledge of the situation told the Daily Caller in May, “A laptop used by Imran was hidden in an unused crevice of the Rayburn House Office Building” and was found by Capitol Police and seized for use in the criminal investigation against him. The Daily Caller further noted, “Wasserman Schultz’s office is in Longworth House Office Building, a separate structure.”

The laptop was reportedly found hidden in a little-used section of the Rayburn House Office Building and was later seized by Capitol Police in the criminal investigation against him.

Shortly after the laptop was seized, Wasserman Schultz reportedly threatened Capitol Police with “consequences” if they did not return equipment that she said belonged to her and was being used to Imran Awan.

Breitbart News previously reported that “[t]he Pakistani-born Awan, who was working as a technology administrator for the Florida lawmaker, is being investigated for alleged involvement in several massive cyber security breaches and transferring sensitive congressional data offsite.”

Oh, and don't bother looking for this story in the liberal media. There seems to be a blackout on it. Not a peep about it anywhere.

Obviously that means that the story is totally fake news. Because Breitbart.

Actually I did hear it on my local news this morning, at least parts of it. Politico had it:

Start at 1:24:25 to hear Wasserman desperately try to get the Police Chief to say he has to give her back the laptop because SHE is not the target of the investigation (but of course she talks in hypothetical terms to avoid implicating herself. The Chief doesn't budge)

Maybe CNN isn't reporting on this because Imran Awan actually did work writing for them?

That Politico story is from May. Nothing about this latest development.

I hope these guys are in protective custody so they don't become victims of a "botched robbery" or a "freak weightlifting accident".

At least one of them got caught trying to flee the country, so I'm sure at least he's in custody.

It's just that guys like this seem to have a strange habit of dying under mysterious circumstances before they can give up their information.

And Wasserman trying so hard to get the laptop back that she brings it up to the police chief in a budget meeting? No, that doesn't make her look suspicious or set off alarm bells with the police at all.

(Breitbart) RNC Chair Ronna Romney McDaniel stated that former DNC Chair Representative Debbie Wasserman Schultz’s (D-FL) conduct in the case of former staffer Imran Awan amounts to obstruction on a matter that potentially impacts national security.

McDaniel said, “We have to get to the bottom of this, and Debbie Wasserman Schultz has obstructed at every level, on something that affects, potentially our national security. So to have this gentlemen try and leave the country yesterday, and now we know there’s bank fraud, and we know he destroyed these hard drives and when you talk to — when you read the story about the Marine that found them in the apartment he was trying to rent. I mean, it’s a long story, but it’s something we have to get to the bottom of. We’re not hearing the Democrats talk about it at all. Where’s Debbie Wasserman Schultz? And we also need to know why DNC never turned over their hard drive to the FBI to review it as to their hacking.”

The silence from the left has certainly been deafening. And they still refuse to turn their servers over to the FBI. That's suspicious in and of itself, especially when the servers potentially contain evidence that could support or refute the Russian narrative.

It begs the question: What are the Democrats hiding?
