When I see it, I read it as "X-ian" - having no connotations with Christ whatsoever. I don't see it as "taking the Christ out" but as "meaningless". It looks lazy to me. I don't think I'm alone in that.

It would help some if it was an actual Christogram and not just half of one, but that would get blank stares from most.

Let me get this straight. So to be consistent, when the radical left Antifa got involved in protests against Trump or various conservatives or other things they got involved in then you would be in support of the neo-Nazis staging counter-protests just because the Antifa needed to be countered?

Like I said elsewhere, this isn't about free speech, because if this incident had stopped merely at speech then there would have never been a problem. As far as the facts are concerned, both sides came looking for a fight, and they got one.

I agree. But it takes two to fight. If the left didn't come there looking for a fight, then the nazis would have nobody to fight with.

I usually support the cops, but this time the cops let this happen. They should have set up areas for each group and never let them mix. They stood by and let this happen from what I could see.

According to some reports, the police actively forced the two groups together and then stood back when the predictable happened.

"Breitbart is not the alt-right" comes from one man's interpretation of one language-use data study. Meanwhile, Breitbart posted article after article aligned with and defending the alt-right, was called an alt-right platform by one of it's founders and it's executive chair, was called "the alt-right go-to website" by former writer Ben Shapiro, and hosted articles by alt-right leader Milo Yiannopoulos. The site even had a special section called "Black Crime".

I'm not sure we can blame the police. They get their orders from the politicians. Remember how just a year or so ago the mayor of Baltimore ordered the police there to give the mob "space" to riot? For the police to stand down?

He was speaking for a team of researchers. Did you even bother reading the article, or were you too busy wiping the drool from your chin?

And yet a team of researchers from Harvard and MIT, hardly bastions of conservative thought, found that Breitbart is considerably less incendiary than its reputation would suggest. Here's what the New York Times had to say:

                      Source: New York Times

Look, man, when even the New York Times is coming to Breitbart's defense, you know it's time to give up on your false liberal narrative.

The existence of the so called antifa are a reaction to the alt right supremacists hate groups, without the supremacists the antifa doesn't exist. We now have a neo nazi, Sebastion Gorka, and other supporters and or defenders of these right wing hate groups in the White House, including Trump himself. The purpose of these hate groups and their protests is to incite violence, so don't act so surprised when violence breaks out and then point the finger at the counter protesters.

Are you daft Jim? Antifa pretty much just hate everything, fascism, capitalism, governments in general, since they are largely anarchists. If the supremacists weren't there they would still be rioting about something or the other. And how is Sebastion Gorka a neo-nazi - where did that come from?

That's bull. The Antifa started to protest ANY conservatives. Like Trump's inauguration. Or when a conservative wanted to speak at a college. They are anti-free speech. They are more fascist than the people they claim are fascist.
