What's there to speculate about? Steve Bannon voluntarily resigned and said in no uncertain terms that he's going to war for Trump. That's Bannon talking, not "anonymous sources".

Was called a mutual decision. But he wasn't fired, let go, or "ousted".

The "he was really fired" narrative is just wishful thinking by the media. They were hoping to add another "scalp" to their trophy case, but I think they're starting to realize that Bannon can cause them far more grief at Breitbart than he could from inside the White House.

Man, you guys are so gullible. Bannon was fired because Trump thought it in his best interests to fire him, period.

It's only because the sources are named. If this was from anonymous sources then Jimmy would eat it up.

Since when do what the parties involved have to say have anything to do with what you believe? C'mon, cut it out bill, I'm busting a gut here.

You're too much of a troll to ever admit you are wrong, so your gut busting doesn't matter one whit to me. Bannon wasn't fired.

Bannon the Barbarian has got his hands on his weapons and is back on Breitbart which he once said was a platform for the alt-right. And Mountain Man is happy?

I loathe using the ignore function but I think I'm gonna start using it to filter out the posts of people whose contributions to any discussion are a blatant waste of time. I lament every nanosecond during which my eyes stop on one of your posts.

It seems like Trump just sort of fires whomever he pleases whenever he pleases because they aren't giving him what they want.

Here's a little speculation from fox news for those who prefer it.

I'll just quote myself from another thread:

Trump’s new campaign chief denies that the alt-right is inherently racist. He describes its ideology as “nationalist,” though not necessarily white nationalist. Likening its approach to that of European nationalist parties such as France’s National Front, he says, “If you look at the identity movements over there in Europe, I think a lot of [them] are really ‘Polish identity’ or ‘German identity,’ not racial identity. It’s more identity toward a nation-state or their people as a nation.”

Of course that was before the left embraced the term and attached to it every hateful ideology they could think of, including those that have their roots in liberalism.
