We've been saving him for bacon.

Good. I don't like pulled pork.

I was in the cabbage cult. Good times.
Curiosity never hurt anyone. It was stupidity that killed the cat.

Reminds me of the old joke of which there are numerous versions
While visiting his uncle, a city slicker noticed a pig with a wooden leg on his farm. His curiosity roused, he asked, "How did that pig get a wooden leg?"

"Well nephew, that's the greatest pig ever! A while back a wild boar attacked me while I was walking in the woods. That pig there came a runnin', went after that boar and chased him away. He saved my life!"

"And the boar tore up his leg?" the nephew asked.

"No he was fine after that, explained his uncle. "But a bit later we had a fire. Started in the shed up against the barn. Well, that pig started squealing like he was stuck, woke us up, and before anyone got out here, he had already herded the other animals out of the barn and saved 'em all! He's really the greatest pig ever."

"So that's when he hurt his leg?"

"Nope," the farmer shook his head. "A week later, when my tractor hit a rock and rolled down the hill into the pond, I was knocked clean out. When I came to, that pig had dove into the pond and dragged me out before I drowned. Save my life, he did."

"So that was when he hurt his leg?"

"Nope. He was just fine. The greatest pig ever."

"Okay, okay," the nephew exclaimed getting a tad exasperated. "So just tell me. How did he get the wooden leg?"

"Well", his uncle explained. "A pig like that, you don't want to eat all at once!"

I'm always still in trouble again

                On oldie but goodie!
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
