I'm scared about some health issues. Please pray for me.

Hi guys.

I've not posted on T-Web in a long time. For my first post back, I'd like to ask for prayer.

For close to a month now, I've been dealing with some frustrating issues related to dehydration/electrolyte imbalance, bladder abnormalities, headache/back pain, insomnia, night sweats, fast heart rate, and crazy fluctuating blood pressure. All of that is at the least annoying, but also scary to deal with. I have Cerebral Palsy, and apparently, it's extremely common for people with my disability to have significant kidney problems, and that possibility concerns me greatly.

I went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago with these problems. It was a horrible appointment, and I felt ignored and not important. What was worst is that I had blood work done which found abnormalities, and they scheduled a follow up with a new doctor which is still 2 weeks away. My symptoms are getting freakier by the day. I'm the kind of person who, if something stresses me out, just can't forget it and it consumes my thoughts. I know that's not right, but I can't help myself.

So, please pray that these issues will be resolved and that I can stop fixating on my fears. Thanks, and God bless!

My reccommendation is if you find yourself urinating dark colored, cloudy or urine with an odor, if you feel faint, or feverish, or have a mucous like discharge, abnormal muscle twitching, do not wait, take your latest labs, and go to your nearest emergency room. (Nursing Student/Med Tech)

Not to get too graphic, but my urine has consistently been a small amount (maybe 4 ounces) of orange-brown each void for the past month, unless I drink 8 to 16 oz per hour. Even after my urine returns to a normal color, if I then forget to drink another 8 ounces, within an hour the urine goes back to brownish. I'm drinking 100 ounces a day, and still have dark urine.

Frustrating thing about the ER, it's hundreds of $$ just for one visit, and they'll just give you (maybe) a bag or two of saline and toss you out, telling you to drink more. I'm drinking as much as I can while trying to avoid water intoxication...

If your urine is brown they won't just let you go, brown urine can be a sign of a liver problem and it needs to be addressed now. Do not wait. And try not to over stress about it, just go see a doctor.
