We could always go for the Darwinian angle - make the basic living income optional and tie it to mandatory sterilization.

On the OP topic of socialism, I see as part of Trump's embarrassing speech at the U.N. this week, he took a swipe at socialism in general which fell completely flat with the audience.
Trump claimed Venezuela's problems came from socialism, and called socialism a discredited ideology. The tumbleweeds rolled as the audience looked at one another and felt embarrassed for Trump, and then realized Trump wasn't going to keep talking unless they at least half-heartedly clapped for him."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump
"Every line of serious work that I have written since 1936 has been written, directly or indirectly, against totalitarianism and for democratic socialism" - George Orwell
"[Capitalism] as it exists today is, in my opinion, the real source of evils. I am convinced there is only one way to eliminate these grave evils, namely through the establishment of a socialist economy" - Albert Einstein

Trump's idiotic statements about socialism were given in front of people from countries that are currently socialist, and others who are well-informed about politics and know that socialism isn't the cause of Venezuela's current problems."I hate him passionately", he's "a demonic force" - Tucker Carlson, in private, on Donald Trump

One has to wonder what kind of mass delusion makes millions admire a group of thugs and killers.I DENOUNCE DONALD J. TRUMP AND ALL HIS IMMORAL ACTS.
