    Glory Seed Devotional, 2017.09.07

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing Jehovah-Jireh...
    Never alone!
    Shalom!

“For if we are faithful to the end, trusting God just as firmly as when we first believed, we will share in all that belongs to Christ.” (Hebrews 3:14, NLT)

God is calling you into the undiscovered territory of life! Perhaps you are facing a life without a loved one. Perhaps you are facing a life altering decision. Perhaps the words from your doctor, “I’ve some bad news for you.” Perhaps you need some expensive medication yet cannot afford it. Or perhaps the monster of fear in another form has reared up and has you standing still.

If I’ve hit a familiar cord with you then I also have some words of encouragement for you, words from thousands of years ago yet just as fresh and powerful as if God is speaking them today. Words that do not spell out in detail how God will go about blessing you but never-the-less words that will strengthen and prompt you to take another step, and another, and another. “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, NLT)

There are times when fear grips us and we’d like to know how God will bless us before we place our trust him and follow him. Yet what we need to remind ourselves it’s not the blessings God will give us that are important IT IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD THAT IS MOST IMPORTANT!

“…for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”
The most important thing you’ll do today is to plant those 11 words in your memory because you will face them at least once today. Or if not someone who crosses your path today will need to feel them through your words of encouragement.

“May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us.” **
    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary

Amen Gary!!!! I'm storing these words away in my memory for when I need them!
3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received: that Christ died for our sins in accordance with the Scriptures, 4 that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day in accordance with the Scriptures --1 Corinthians 15:3-4 (borrowed with gratitude from 37818's sig)
