Same goes with the "<my country> is number one!" that you Americans like to do, which also has people rolling their eyes / laughing at you.
USA is easy to chant. Chanting "New Zealand" would indeed sound dumb. That said, there's nothing unique about US nationalism. Even the most pathetic European countries usually try to blend their nationalism with contradictory policies like bringing low IQ foreign savages to rape your children. Your own nationalism is probably on the high end of the scale by US standards.

Not likely. Hitler liked them and Japan is not rich in resources.

Yours, to start with. The only reason why it doesn't make the top of the list is because Sweden and Germany also exist.

I think European countries should definitely keep you out along with your fellow low-IQ foreign savages.

And what weirds me out further about America is they have a Pledge of Allegiance. And they regularly indoctrinate children with and make kids do it at school.

                      As wikipedia comments:
Though many countries have oaths of allegiances for specific purposes, the United States remains one of the few to utilize such an oath in childhood education.
The indoctrination starts young there. I regard this as child abuse.

The most patriotic thing I recall ever doing at school was learning the words to the first couple of verses of the national anthem. I don't recall ever being shown a NZ flag at school, and our country certainly doesn't have any kind of pledge of allegiance and I have never recited any sort of pledge / oath towards the country in my life. I think Raphael might have had to give some kind of oath once during his citizenship ceremony though.

It's rather amusing that killing a 6 month old child isn't child abuse, but teaching the the pledge is. Goes to show every time his mouth opens, we should feel embarrassed for New Zealand as a whole. Sorry guys.

Its good that people love their country and take pride in it. Danes don't think Americans are bad for chanting USA, though it does come off a bit intense, and people shift into that low voice for it too. To my ears it sounds a bit hooligany, but I love my own country way too much to fault Americans for being unashamed of their own.

Personally if I ever became a US Citizen I would not join in that chant. Blame my European sensibilities.

He considered Japanese honorary Aryans. And Hitler was not planning on exterminating everyone who wasn't aryan anyway.

Well, and again contrary to Starlight's goofy claim that other nations stare at the US as if we were crazy when sports attendees chant "USA" at games, and that no other nations do that, it sounds like you guys do it with gusto in Denmark,

Ya gotta wonder where Starlight got this naive notion that other nations don't do this. I'm guessing it has something to do with the isolation that comes from living all the way in NZ maybe. If all you hear is Maori hakas at your local sporting events, I suppose it might seem strange to think that fans from other nations chant their nation's name. But even then, it's a strange thing to think that other nations shouldn't display national pride. The haka is a representation of national pride as much as anyone chanting "New Zealand!" What gets me, though, is Starlight's constant cocksure attitude about so many things he's completely and hopelessly ignorant about. The guy lives in a bubble.
