Well, I don't think it is sinful to do what they say. Just as long as you don't make them a law over you.

Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. St. John Chrysostom

The law has a purpose to show us we are sinful (Matthew 5:20; Romans 3:19; 1 John 3:4; James 2:10 & 1 Timothy 1:8-11).

But those who make the law a means of salvation miss God's grace (Galatians 2:21; Galatians 5:4).
. . . the Gospel of Christ, for it is [the] power of God to salvation to every [one] believing, . . . -- Romans 1:16.

. . . that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures: . . . -- 1 Corinthians 15:3, 4.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: . . . -- 1 John 5:1.

From what we know of the earliest Christians, they did work on Sundays.
I want something good to die for to make it beautiful to live.

Wrong. We are called to live by those principles not by the law.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

They were taken from the Law.
Thus, as you say, we follow the principle.-Gal 5:14

Not quite, the Law was based on principles, and given as illustration.
Micah 6:8 He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
