As if there aren't thousands of players wanting to get into the NFL. Not to mention none of these guys will risk losing their multi-million dollar contracts. Yeah contracts. Meaning the owners can not only fire them for breach of contract, they can sue them too.

True. And they can suffer the consequences as a result. Similarly, my boss tells me I cannot wear a T-shirt to work[1] and if I ignore it I will suffer the consequences as a result.

      1. Actually I can wear one under a dress shirt or polo shirt

Most of the players want to play and collect more money per game than the vast majority of people make in a year than protest.

But, are you expecting an answer?
The first to state his case seems right until another comes and cross-examines him.

Yes, and slit their own throats in the process, like Trump intended.

Then why are they protesting the flag and anthem? And they're not making a stand against injustice, they're making a stand against any consequences for black people who commit crimes.

They are not even doing that. The only reason they are kneeling is because Trump called kneeling players out. The rest of them just started kneeling to protest Trump, basically "you can't tell us what to do!"

                          They weren't kneeling before.

Exactly. The players are doing exactly what the flag does stand for, and what the military defends. Conservatives never seem to get that, for them it always seems to be "my country right or wrong, and if you don't like it keep your mouth shut.

Hmm, and I'll bet you'd be saying the same thing if Obama spent hundreds of thousands on a political stunt. Not!
