This is not a genuine photograph of Aaron Rodgers. Both the pictured person’s face and the t-shirt design have been altered.*
The original image was taken in the gift lounge at the MGM Grand Arena during the 48th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards on 7 April 2013 and showed musician George Strait holding a “Straight Shootin Country Boy” t-shirt. That photograph, available via Getty Images, was used as the basis to create several other promotional images of Straight holding up various t-shirts:

Surprisingly, this image has also been doctored to sell products unrelated to George Straight related. In addition to changing the t-shirt design, some vendors also placed another person’s face on Straight’s body in order to sell a variety of merchandise. We found versions of this image featuring musician Willie Nelson, actor Kit Harington, President Donald Trump, and New England Patriots Coach Bill Belichick:

The only one that pissed off certain dumbass fans, was D.J. Trump. Kaepernick took a knee a long, long time ago in protest and it was no huge issue, there was very little outrage about it. All of a sudden Trump had to weigh in and make it a big issue for political reasons because he knows what his deplorable racist base wants to hear. And like I said before, these athletes raise money and put their own money back into their communities all the time and if you've never seen that, well, then that says something about you as well. Its called bias, you only see what you want to see and then use that to re-enforce that bias.

It started with 1. Several others have joined this year because Kaep has not been offered a job. They were kneeling to protest him not having a job. They were disrespecting the flag because their buddy was being an idiot. Trump rightly called them out, and a majority of Americans agree with his sentiment, if not his method.

Of course they do. I don't think anyone ever claimed they don't.

That does not change the fact that it was a big issue last year before Trump got involved in spite of your claim to the contrary.

I get what Jim's saying; he's saying that the issue is significantly more widespread than when one or two players were protesting. Entire teams were sitting out the anthem a couple weeks ago, it's fair to say that's an expansion of the issue. He's definitely wrong when he says Kaepernick was "no big deal" because he was almost nonstop in sports headlines for over a year.

Blast the children in other nations into eternity, or limbless misery as they lay crippled from "OUR" bombers! This does not jell." - Leonard Ravenhill

Yes it was a big issue before but it’s a much bigger issue now since Trump’s incendiary comments. They have revitalised the protests.

Whether in future they consist of kneeling during the anthem or locking arms to indicate a unified way to raise awareness of police brutality and racism, it’s unlikely that pro football players will abandon this form of protest now. Not for as long as they still believe it's a valid way to call attention to what they see as fundamental racial inequities in the justice system. Regardless of what Trump has to say to his redneck supporters in Alabama and elsewhere.
