Instead of sex being seen as natural, healthy and wholesome it has been relegated to the status of something dirty, to be engaged in only via strict social rules within marriage. In short, it has become forbidden fruit to be indulged in secretly and furtively.
And the more repressive the society, the more it seems to flourish, e.g. during the Victorian era..Enter the Church and wash away your sins. For here there is a hospital and not a court of law. Do not be ashamed to enter the Church; be ashamed when you sin, but not when you repent. – St. John Chrysostom

So many posts on pervert Hefner just few days back. He tried to take shame of free sex away using porn rag of his, guess what, that just led to more porn.

A 2013 video clip from "The View" has recently resurfaced in which former child actor Corey Feldman told an incredulous Barbara Walters about the sexual abuse that he and his best friend suffered and which he believes led to his friend's abuse of drugs and eventual suicide. When he warned parents about the dangers of letting their children into show business, Walters shouted him down, saying, "You're damaging an entire industry!"

If only the hollywood people could live up to the standard of fictional heroes that actually have moral standards. I'm not familiar with the movies this guy produced, so does anyone know who the best character morality wise was in all the movies and what that character acted like? Weinstien should have asked himself what that character would do. Since he can't ask what Jesus would do.If it weren't for the Resurrection of Jesus, we'd all be in DEEP TROUBLE!

Have you been living under a rock for the past 50 years? Sex has been something to be openly indulged in pretty much wherever and with whomever you want to for decades. And even within marriage, it has rarely been seen as "dirty" or "forbidden fruit to be indulged in secretly and furtively".
We're over a century removed from the Victorian era - and it has never flourished more than today, which has been thoroughly anti-Victorian for decades now.“He felt that his whole life was a kind of dream and he sometimes wondered whose it was and whether they were enjoying it.” - Douglas Adams.

Controlling for broadband access, states show remarkable similarity in their subscription quantities, as shown in Table 2. Dividing state subscription counts by the FCC’s Broadband Deployment quantities, the most-subscribing state is Utah (where 5.47 of every 1,000 broadband households subscribed to the service at issue), while the least-subscribing state is Montana (1.92 per 1000 broadband households). The ratio of these extremes is just 2.85—relatively small in comparison to states’ diversity in other respects.
So difference in average count of subscription is not significant. Just look at actual article, not just sensational headline:
A new nationwide study (pdf) of anonymised credit-card receipts from a major online adult entertainment provider finds little variation in consumption between states.
“When it comes to adult entertainment, it seems people are more the same than different,” says Benjamin Edelman at Harvard Business School.
