Oh, that totally explains a 50-point difference from expectations. Most of the gullible ones voted for Hillary, the quintessential establishment candidate. Trump won mostly because he campaigned for and got the "we're mad as hell, and we're not gonna take it any more" vote.

Are you seriously suggesting that Hillary's infamous "50 point" rant was an expresssion of genuine confusion on her part?

        Talk about gullible!

No, the gullible ones, like yourself, supported Trump, because he is a con man and took advantage of the opportunity that globalization growing pains, and a Russian disinformation campaign, availed to him. Being mad as hell is not in itself a good reason to vote for an anti-establishment con man.

Did I say anything about confusion? I said that Clinton, just like Trumps primary opponents, didn't know at the time about Russia and the disinformation campaign, aimed at getting Trump elected, you know, the actual fake news, that was going on.

I know you believe that, Jim. Perhaps you should stop believing your own hype, and start paying attention.

Given the choice between Nope and Noper, I chose the one who promised to be more entertaining. He's delivered in spades.

There are a lot of us - me specifically - who did not "support Trump" in any way, shape or form. I held my nose and voted for him because it was the only to stop Hillary from becoming POTUS, and in hopes that he would keep his promise concerning SCOTUS.

Well, that just goes to prove that you're not a serious person, so why should anyone care what you think about it?

I didn't decide who I was going to vote for until I was actually in the voting booth, which is a first for me.

And, quite honestly, at the time I voted, it looked like Trump didn't have a snowball's chance, so I thought my vote was more of a protest vote than a vote "for" Trump.

I didn't vote for Trump. I voted against Hillary. Or as this expresses it:

I'm always still in trouble again

"Overall I would rate the withdrawal from Afghanistan as by far the best thing Biden's done" --Starlight
"Of course, human life begins at fertilization that’s not the argument." --Tassman

You're irrepressible, Jim. Don't go changin'.

Interesting, all the staunch Trump defenders trying now to distance themselves from the man that they were conned into voting for.

In my state of residence, there are twice as many Democrats registered to vote as Republicans. I don't vote for the winning candidate very often.

Jimmy, if you can prove that I - even ONE TIME - have done anything to even HINT that I'm "staunch Trump defender", then put up or shut up.
