      Still don't get what? That government is explicitly prohibited from interfering with the free exercise of religion? No, we get that. It's idiot liberals who misinterpret this to mean that the government should vigorously stomp out any religious expression that happens to intersect with government matters, even tangentially, in any way, shape, or form.

          The point is that government cannot favour one religion over another which means freedom FROM state sponsored religious persecution. Those Christians who are authoritarian and look forward to a theocratic state are un-American and will be strongly contested because they disrespect the establishment clause.
