And the Jews say: 'Uzair (Ezra) is the son of Allah, and the Christians say: Messiah is the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouths. They imitate the saying of the disbelievers of old. Allah's Curse be on them, how they are deluded away from the truth! S. 9:30

If certain hadith are taken as authoritative, as many Muslims do, then Christians are thrown into hell to allow Muslims a free pass.

OK so assuming that, I have a 50/50 chance between choosing a God who allows anyone who asks Jesus to save him to get into heaven, and a God who randomly tosses strangers into hell to buy muslims a free ride to heaven. So I will still choose the Christian God who is more merciful and just.

The basic principle of Pascal's Wager was a major reason I didn't give up during my period of major doubt 10-11 years ago, when Christianity was starting to look a lot more unlikely than not. I couldn't imagine making a final decision based on it though. I couldn't embrace a religion I was only 50% sure was true.
