I once had a car like that. A red Pontiac Sunbird. Sold it for $100 and gave the guy a case of transmission fluid (you needed to add a quart after about 20 to 30 miles) and a funnel.

Several months later the guy I sold it to dropped by to thank me for helping him save his job and show me his new Mercedes.

I got home from work one day and noticed that it was gone. I'm not particularly irritated about it being stolen, mostly because (in my mind) I shouldn't have been an idiot and left my unicycle outside like that.

I think you should be glad if you don't get charged with providing an "attractive nuisance" if the thief has an accident and has to go to the E.R. to get the thing extracted from his hind parts.
