Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing God...
    HOPE!
    Shalom!

“I pray that your hearts will be flooded with light so that you can understand the confident hope he has given to those he called—his holy people who are his rich and glorious inheritance.” (Ephesians 1:18, NLT)

You’ll notice I have put HOPE all capitals and bold face type I’ve done used it that way in order to indicate the “confident HOPE God has given us. “confident HOPE… he has GIVEN…” Those 5 words tell me that without God in Your life there is no HOPE only wishful thinking. While wishful thinking has a place in our lives building our lives on it is “…like a person who builds a house on sand. When the rains and floods come and the winds beat against that house, it will collapse with a mighty crash.“ (Matthew 7:26-27, NLT)

The one thing I will always remember my good friend Robert Campbell saying is, “keep HOPE alive.” The apostle Paul not only tells us to keep HOPE alive he is also telling us to discover how God “fits” HOPE into the dark corridors life drags us through. One of the primary functions of HOPE is to be an encourager, the message HOPE instills in us when all seems lost Jesus reminds us, “…I am with you always…” HOPE not only functions as an encourager it is also establishes a solid foundation that will sustain us until we emerge into fullness of God’s Light.

There is one more “element” of hope playing a crucial role how I understand how God “fits” HOPE into our lives the Psalmist puts it this way. “I am counting on the LORD; yes, I am counting on him. I have put my hope in his word. I long for the Lord more than sentries long for the dawn, yes, more than sentries long for the dawn.” (Psalm 130:5–6, NLT) I’ve never fully realized how important HOPE is to our daily life until recently, I am not saying it was unimportant what I am trying to say is I never fully realized how much I depend on the HOPE God has placed in me.

HOPE! The DNA of God weaved into the intricacies of your DNA!

“May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us.” **
    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
