Everyone should read "Persecution"!
I have recently come across a great new book.
"Persecution-how the liberals are waging war against christianity"
David Limbaugh
When I first ran across this book, I figured it was going to be full of super-right-wing conspiracy theory written by some shmuck that was trying to make money off of having the last name Limbaugh. I bought it anyways.
This book is downright exquisite. There is not conspiracy theory in this book. These are all documented cases. He's gotcase titles, dates, judge names, quotes, etc.
This author (brother of Rush Limbaugh) brings an astounding amount of evidence to the case to prove that the left-wing agenda is to squelch out christianity.
I don't care if you're christian, jewish, mulism, atheist...i don't care if you are right wing, left wing, middle wing...this book is spectacular.
Why are children not allowed to bow their heads and pray before lunch in kindergartren classes? Why are judges threatening christians 6 month incarceration for mentioning Jesus during their graduation ceremonies? Why are governmental agencies thinking that the constitution tells them that they are required to remove all religious talk from the school system or governmental system?
Albeit, obtentimes christians can go to radical (much like the aclu suing agencies for god knows what)...for the most part, the cases in this book are clear unconstitutional rulings attempting to squelch out right wing religion.
Truthfully it's a great book for anyone who wishes to be outraged by hypocritical politics."Whenever the devil harasses you, seek the company of men or drink more, or joke and talk nonsense, or do some other merry thing. Sometimes we must drink more, sport, recreate ourselves, and even sin a little to spite the devil, so that we leave him no place for troubling our consciences with trifles. We are conquered if we try too conscientiously not to sin at all. So when the devil says to you: do not drink, answer him: I will drink, and right freely, just because you tell me not to."

My brother shops at Half Price Books and I'm hoping he'll find this one there someday and get it for me. (Yeah, I'm cheap. Comes with the territory of having two kids.)

Persecution in America
Sounds like an interesting and legitimate book. I’m glad to know about it. For years now, many of us have watched the War on Christianity gain intensity each and every year. But it doesn’t seem like that long ago when the idea of persecution in America for the cause of Christ seemed surreal. Horrific persecution has long gone on around the world, of course, and reading your post reminded me of that. I’m ashamed that I go for long periods of time without thinking of it, much less praying for the brethren across the world who need it. Has open persecution for the cause of Christ started in America? Your post and the book beg that question.
One interesting thing I’ve noticed is the degree of raw hate the political left has for George Bush. As hard as they all try to conceal it, especially on television, they can’t do it. He actually makes them hiss and seethe, very much like Ronald Reagan did, only more so. Turns out the thing they hate the most about him is his professed Christianity, as reported by the Wall Street Journal. It really kills them.
Like you, I have no interest in conspiracies. Since we know the political Left is only one of many fronts in the War, that sort of knowledge wouldn’t be that helpful anyway. Besides, we already know the name of the Commanding General, Coordinator, and Chief Conspirator.
I won't get the book since I get my daily dose just following the news and halfway keep up with what's going on. And then there are the more subtle things, like turning on the TV, except for news, maybe a football game, C-Span, History, etc. or an occasional movie. Christian television? God help us - I dare not start on that.
Thanks very much for telling us about the book. If you have time maybe you could post some more about it for those of us who, for various reasons, won’t be reading it.
God Bless."Because narrow is the gate, and hard is the way that leads to life, and few indeed are the ones who find it."

Is a serious issue
We may read or see news on religious persecution in other countries, such as Communist China, Vietnam, Laos, Middle East ect. As many "aware" folks have seen there is a trend in the western world (US and Europe) of religious persecution. It must be open season on Christians.
I find it funny that such trend is building in the civilized and enlighten 1st countries. This should be something we can only aim at a dictatorial regime such as the Talibans of Afghanistan or athiestic Communist China.
Well take care brothers and stand up and simply say "I disagree", to the patronizing elitest.
Forgive my deplorable english.
Just some thoughts.
thanks
