Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing God...
    God is fore-knowledgeable…
    Shalom!

“Life is a mystery. Who knows what triumph or tragedy lies on the horizon? God does. God is not bound by time as we are. He knows your personal future. He knows your personal future. He is the only one who can guide you safely and securely through your life.” (Page 75 Hearing Gods Voice Kindle Book, by Richard Blackaby)

When asked who he was John the Baptist said, “I am the voice of one crying out in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way of the Lord,’ as the prophet Isaiah said.” I will be borrowing John’s experience and using it to help us understand how the Holy Spirit works in our lives. First off, the voice calling crying out in the wilderness is the Holy Spirit. Secondly, the wilderness is the day-to-day circumstances and adversities that happen come without notice or fanfare weighing us down. “He knows your personal future, through His foreknowledge God Blesses us in the present through the ministry of the Holy Spirit.

Blackaby still writing about God’s foreknowledge adds, “He knows your personal future.” That is especially meaningful for me not only about what the future holds for me but what it also holds for Patti (my wife). There is a great deal of Peace in knowing God has a personal interest in each and everyone of us. Nothing today, nothing tomorrow, nothing in all our tomorrows gets past God! In some mysterious way God is present with all of us and at the same time present with each one of us individually.

The quote finishes with, “He is the only one who can guide you safely and securely through your life.” I think the main objective of Blackaby was to let us know that we too can have a form of foreknowledge, that God is present to us and in us. Paul also gives us insight into having our own foreknowledge. “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28, ESV)

Crustyism 1.4… The future may be a closed book to you, but to God it is open and He continues to write it!

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in
every situation. The Lord be with you all.” **
    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
