Israel has always considered Jerusalem its capital. Arabs have never considered Jerusalem their capital. We should drop the empty pretense (and everyone knows it is empty) that it is not.

Looks like Trump will announce it today. About time...

NPR reported the interesting fact that whenever foreign dignitaries meet with the Israeli leadership, they do so in Jerusalem, regardless of whether or not the embassies are in Jerusalem or not. Seems silly that the Israelis cannot have embassies in Jerusalem, seeing as how the most serious claims Palestinians have is only to the Eastern section--the part captured during the 6 day war. All of Jerusalem will not be the Palestinian capitol, whatever happens.
