Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing God...
    Alone! Never!
    Shalom!

God is calling you into the undiscovered territory of life! Perhaps you are facing a life without a loved one. Perhaps you are facing a life altering decision. Perhaps the words from your doctor, “I’ve some bad news for you.” Perhaps you need some expensive medication yet cannot afford it. Or perhaps the monster of fear in another form has reared up and has you standing still.

If I’ve hit a familiar cord with you then I also have some words of encouragement for you, words from thousands of years ago yet just as fresh and powerful as the God who spoke them. Words that do not spell out in great detail how God will go about blessing you but never-the-less words that will strengthen and prompt you to take another step. “This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9, NLT)

There are times when fear grips us we’d like to know how God will bless us before we place our trust him and follow him. Yet what we need to remind ourselves it’s not the blessings God will give us that are important IT IS THE PRESENCE OF GOD THAT IS MOST IMPORTANT!

“…for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.” The most important thing you’ll do today is to plant those 11 words in your short-term memory because you will face them at least once today. Or if not someone who crosses your path today will need to feel them through your words of encouragement.

There are times when I would really like to paint (with words) pictures of how God will bless you through the adversities you face but I can’t the only thing I know for sure is God, through the Holy Spirit accompanies you even through the darkest valleys.

“Now may the Lord of peace himself give you his peace at all times and in
every situation. The Lord be with you all.” **
    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
