Glory Seed Guidelines

Notice – The ministries featured in this section of TheologyWeb are guests of this site and in some cases not bargaining for the rough and tumble world of debate forums, though sometimes they are. Additionally, this area is frequented and highlighted for guests who also very often are not acclimated to debate fora. As such, the rules of conduct here will be more strict than in the general forum. This will be something within the discretion of the Moderators and the Ministry Representative, but we simply ask that you conduct yourselves in a manner considerate of the fact that these ministries are our invited guests. You can always feel free to start a related thread in general forum without such extra restrictions. Thank you.

These daily devotionals are brought to you by Gary Piper, a writer with our Sister Site, Natural Spirit Ministries. TheologyWeb encourages you to visit and support their site.... they have many informative articles which can be discussed right here. If you enjoy Gary Piper's devotionals, please send him an encouraging note or post. We are very appreciative of our partnership with Natural Spirit Ministries and look forward to many more co-ventures.

Glory Seed Devotional’s, 2017: Anticipating and Experiencing God...
    Crusty on the lose…
    Shalom!

Please excuse me if I ramble about myself for a while. I have some things going through my mind that I need to “clear the cobwebs” out. My intent is not gain anyone’s pity, nor am I having my own private pity-party. Since hearing my pulmonary doctor tell me there’s nothing more medicine can do for me the pulmonary fibrosis will simple run it’s course and all we can do is watch it and wait. And while there is no known cure I have pushed death and dying out of my vocabulary, and because of my relationship with Jesus and His relationship with me I’ve opted to replace them with transitioning into God’s Kingdom in Heaven.

Yesterday morning while preparing to write the Glory Seed that never got sent I suddenly found myself reading, “But let me reveal to you a wonderful secret. We will not all die, but we will all be transformed! It will happen in a moment, in the blink of an eye, when the last trumpet is blown. For when the trumpet sounds, those who have died will be raised to live forever. And we who are living will also be transformed. For our dying bodies must be transformed into bodies that will never die; our mortal bodies must be transformed into immortal bodies. Then, when our dying bodies have been transformed into bodies that will never die, this Scripture will be fulfilled: “Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is your victory? O death, where is your sting?”” (1 Corinthians 15:51–55, NLT)

For someone who is not facing the end of their life on earth may have different slant on what Paul was trying to say, but for those who are (like me) they speak volumes no only about the future but volumes of Peace, Comfort and at the same time Illuminating what to some is the darkest period of life. In addition to the verses above Paul wrote these as well. “It is the same way with the resurrection of the dead. Our earthly bodies are planted in the ground when we die, but they will be raised to live forever. Our bodies are buried in brokenness, but they will be raised in glory. They are buried in weakness, but they will be raised in strength. They are buried as natural human bodies, but they will be raised as spiritual bodies. For just as there are natural bodies, there are also spiritual bodies.” (1 Corinthians 15:42–44, NLT)

I realize when exchanging death and dying for Transitioning into God’s Kingdom in Heaven I am just a play on words and there are those will say “sticks and stones may break my bones, but names and words will never hurt me.” But out of experience I will tell you those words are WRONG! Words can injure. Words can hurt. Words can kill. Words can rob. Words can bring Peace. Words can bring Encouragement. Words can instill Love. Words can instill Hope. Words can instill Joy. Words can strengthen Faith. Words can either bring doom and gloom or Light and Life.

Crustyism 1.5… Choose wisely the words you speak, the words you hear, and the words you believe!

PS… Cobwebs are gone thank you for letting me get rid of them. It is true sometimes clearing the cobwebs is good for the soul!

“I pray that God, the source of hope, will fill you completely with joy and peace because you trust in him. Then you will overflow with confident hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.”**

    Grace and PEACE,
    Gary
